I. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to understand how users interact with our Website and for marketing purposes, including displaying ads to them on other websites.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone, or another device on which you browse the website. A cookie file contains data about your use of that website.

Some cookies are necessary for the functioning of our Store and cannot be disabled.
In other cases, upon your first visit to our Website, we will ask for your consent to install cookies. We do not use advertising or analytical cookies (or any others beyond the essential ones) without your consent.

What cookies do we use?

1. Essential cookies

  • These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. You cannot disable them, as doing so would cause our site to stop functioning correctly.

  • We use a tool that stores your privacy settings in this regard. It records your consent or lack thereof for activating specific types of cookies on our site.

  • Other essential cookies on our Website are used for its proper functioning and management, e.g., for editing the website and activating tracking tools to which you have consented.

2. Statistical analysis of our Website

  • We use tools that collect analytical data, helping us understand how users interact with our Website. The data we receive from these tools does not identify you personally but allows us to record different aspects of how users interact with the Website. This data can be aggregated and statistically analyzed and then used to make decisions about changes to our Store and/or our advertising and marketing strategies.

  • A list of analytical tools used on our Website, along with explanations of: (i) who the provider is, (ii) what it is used for, and (iii) what data is collected — can be found in Annex No. 1 to this policy.

3. Advertising cookies

  • We use advertising tools that allow us to display our ads on other websites you visit, including social media platforms (so-called targeted ads), measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, and tailor our communications to the information we have about you.

  • A list of advertising tools used on our Website, along with explanations of: (i) who the provider is, (ii) what it is used for — is available in Annex No. 1 and also summarized in the cookie consent management panel.

4. Functional cookies

  • Some cookies on our Website are used to activate additional features in the Store, such as chat, product rating modules, product recommendation tools, or the ability to view recently browsed products.

  • A list of functional tools used on our Website and their purposes can be found in the cookie consent management panel.

5. Social media plugins and links

    • Our Website includes links to our profiles on social media: Facebook / Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn. If you visit our profile in any of these services, the owner of the platform will receive — just as in the case of any user moving from one website to another — information that you came from our Store.

    • Details on data processing by these social media platforms are available on their privacy pages:

    • Our Store uses social media plugins that allow, for example, sharing a product from our Store on your profile, liking a product on Facebook, or saving an image from our Website to your Pinterest account. The use of these plugins involves transmitting information from cookies to the social media platform providers:

      • The service provider will receive information that your browser displayed our Website, even if you are not logged in or do not have a profile in that social media service.

      • If you were logged into one of the aforementioned services before visiting our Store, the service provider will be able to directly link your visit on our Website to your profile.

    • If you do not want social media platforms to associate data collected during your visit to our Store with your social media profile, log out of those services before visiting our Website.

Legal basis for using cookies

The legal basis for the Store's use of essential cookies (as listed above in the section “What cookies do we use?”) is our legitimate interest — i.e., the right to operate a Website supporting our business, and the necessity of maintaining its security.
The legal basis for using all other cookies is your consent.

In connection with the processing of your personal data via cookies, you retain the rights outlined further in this policy at all times.

Our use of cookies, especially for advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that we — or marketing service providers we work with — may create a user profile based on collected information (e.g., email address, order history, device type, technology used, visit frequency), and based on that profile, forecast your future purchasing behavior. This helps us decide what content (including ads) to display on our Website and on others.

How long do cookies stay on the user’s device?

It depends on whether the cookies are “persistent” or “session” cookies.
Session cookies, which enable your browser’s functions to work correctly, expire at the end of the user session — i.e., each time you close our Website.
Persistent cookies, which make browsing easier (e.g., remembering resolution settings, layout preferences, last viewed products), remain stored in your browser until they expire — unless you delete them earlier via your browser settings.

Cookies from third parties (i.e., analytical, advertising, or social media-related cookies) are governed by their own privacy policies, which we have linked to in this policy.

ANNEX NO. 1 TO THE PRIVACY POLICY OF THE Satori-urny STORE

LIST OF ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES

ANALYTICAL COOKIES

We use Google Analytics

      • Google Analytics collects information such as: how many times a user visits the website; which subpages they view; date of first and last visit; duration of each session; referring site (traffic source); browser used; clicked links; geographical location (city/country) of access; and a shortened (anonymized) IP address.

      • Google assigns a unique identifier to each user (called Google ID) and stores cookie-based data from various websites on its servers.
We — as the Website owner — may receive reports (statistics) from Google related solely to traffic on our Website. These reports include only users who have given consent on our Website to be tracked by Google Analytics.

      • More detailed information about how Google Analytics works can be found here and here.

      • You can also permanently prevent your browser data from being tracked by Google Analytics by installing a dedicated browser plugin, available here.

Cookies from our Store’s software provider

      • The software provider responsible for our Store's operation — i.e., the owner of the Shoper.pl platform — places cookies on our Website to collect aggregate information on how users interact with online stores (pages visited, time spent, viewed products, clicks, analytics related to purchases such as conversion rates).

      • This data is used to create aggregate reports for e-store owners. These reports contain general insights (non-personal data) such as which products attract interest, which seasons see increased traffic or sales, etc. This helps merchants (including us) improve their stores and optimize sales processes.

      • Full information is available in the Cookie Policy for Shoper Store Visitors.

ADVERTISING COOKIES

We use Google Ads and other Google advertising tools

      • Google collects data from cookies placed on your device. This data is collected across all sites where you’ve consented to Google’s use of cookies for advertising purposes (including our Website), as well as from ads you’ve interacted with. Google uses this data to display ads on other websites you visit. Typically, Google cookies expire after 3 months.

      • As advertisers using Google services, we do not have access to the data stored in your cookies, but we can target ads to audience segments of our choosing — for example, users who visited our website (or a specific subpage) in the last 7 days.
These segments are only statistical in nature, and we can only request ads based on aggregated criteria (not individual users).

      • We may also use tools available within Google Marketing Platform to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (e.g., how many people clicked an ad during a specific period).

      • Learn more about how Google uses cookies to display ads and how you can manage your preferences here and here.

Meta Conversion Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

    • We use the Meta conversion pixel (also known as the remarketing pixel) to manage our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

    • If you consent to this cookie on our Website, Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) will receive information that you visited our Website.
This information will be linked to your profile if you are a user of those platforms. If you don’t have an account, Meta will associate it with a temporary “Facebook ID.”

    • This allows us to run remarketing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram — i.e., show ads to users who have already visited our Website or specific subpages.
Meta Platforms provides us with only statistical data, such as how many people saw or clicked the ad — without identifying individual users.

    • If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, we encourage you to review their privacy policies: Facebook/Instagram.

    • More about the Meta remarketing pixel is available here.
